The first part is the command is to “Remember the days of old”. Days of old is found in the Hebrew term “yemoth olam” with “yemoth” meaning day or days and “olam” meaning long duration or eternity. And the importance here is that it is not only referring to history, but the fulfillment of God’s redemptive purpose and salvation and His promise to save humanity.
